This easy and festive craft is perfect for kids of all ages! You can even turn this into a tradition and redo the same craft every year while you watch your kids grow!! Just mark the age and year of the handprint and you will have the memory and the evidence that your kids are growing faster than you can keep up with! This makes the craft perfect for all ages, but especially perfect for your growing toddler. Follow this link for more details on how to create this fun craft! If you want to mix it up, try it with footprints too!!
POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW
This rainbow is super easy, but also adorable to hang on the refrigerator or even a wall in your kids’ bedrooms. You can either print out a background or you and your kids can draw the landscape and a pot of gold! All you need to make this craft is a large piece of paper to create your masterpiece on, paint for every color of the rainbow, black construction paper and cardboard. To make the pot of gold, simply cut out a pot with the black construction paper and cut out circles with the cardboard. Cover the cardboard circles in gold paint and glue them onto the top of the pot! There--you have a pot of gold!! (Next comes the fun part!!) Have your child paint their hand with a color of the rainbow and one by one press that color onto the paper in an arch shape. This will give them the perfect rainbow in order to lead the lucky ones to the pot of gold!! Just make sure to keep plenty of paper towels nearby to clean the paint off of their hands between every color and watch the joy on your kids’ faces as they get tickled from painting their hand.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from My little Shop!! We hope you have a lucky day and find your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
